David Walliams lost his contract with book publisher.
Acclaimed young adult author and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the company said: "Upon deliberation, and following the appointment of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish any new titles by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an review of reports of conduct deemed unsuitable directed at female individuals.
The company declined to specify the reasons for its decision, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
A Highly Successful Writing Journey
Walliams is one of the UK's most prolific writers for young readers, boasting over in excess of 60 million copies internationally in five dozen languages.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
A number of his titles, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into TV movies.
He has published in excess of 40 works combined, including a Christmas book called *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins this past October.

His initial claim to fame came on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE several years ago in recognition of his work for philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
The publisher's decision comes after the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss in October.
