Iranian Forces State Assault on American Facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Amid Widespread Counterattacks.
Tehran reports attacking a American military facility in Manama, as the country executed missile attacks throughout the Middle East in retaliation for a large-scale and continuing assault against it by the United States and Israeli forces.
Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an vicinity close to the command center of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The extent of any destruction is not yet known and the American officials has remained silent.
Airspace Engagements
In other parts of the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and the State of Kuwait - all home to American military installations - reported they have intercepted missiles in their airspace.
In the Qatari capital, Qatar's defence ministry announced it had successfully engaged several missiles apparently targeting the al-Udeid air base, the largest American base in the Middle East.
IRGC Statement
Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated it was striking American facilities and interests as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in reprisal for the strikes on the Islamic Republic launched by the US and Israel on Saturday morning.
That initial attack - executed at around 06:15 GMT - has so far targeted areas linked to the Iranian leadership, with US President Donald Trump calling on the people of Iran to revolt against the regime.
Regional Fallout
In Israel, sirens were heard nationwide after the Israel Defense Forces said it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The defence ministry of the UAE stated that the country has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"Emirati air defenses engaged the projectiles with notable success and successfully intercepted a series of missiles," the statement continued.
Officials reported debris fell on a neighborhood in Abu Dhabi, causing some material damage and killing a civilian.
The United States Air Force operates from Al Dhafra Air Base, south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
