Rather, the recent film from the JuJutsu Kaisen action franchise acts as a recap of the show's sophomore season merged with the initial episodes of its third season, which kicks off the Culling Games narrative from the manga series. This makes Execution, which has been given a fresh preview, the quickest way to watch the commencement of the upcoming season ahead of its premiere in early 2026. The movie premieres in cinemas in Japan starting November 7, and in North American regions on December 5.

The Culling Games Plot

The Thunderclap Issue

"Thunderclap" from season 2 is widely regarded as a top-tier scene in animated series lore, despite the major issues in the previous year when the series first premiered. It was stated that the artists were suffering from crunch conditions to the degree, and the released version that aired at the time was incomplete and supposedly not what the animators originally planned.

People anxiously checked to see if the Blu-ray, released on March 18, would add any additional scenes to the sequence or to see if it was refined somewhat, and were overjoyed to see exactly that, alongside reshades, smoother movement, and different color grading.

It's drawn the focus of series enthusiasts all over the world, and the Culling Games arc is a much-expected plotline of next year. If the studio wants to start the year off right, revisit the show's top scene once again in cinemas with the best interpretation we've witnessed to date.
